Former Bru MLA dead

AIZAWL: V Lalnunzira, the first MLA to represent Bru community in the Mizoram legislative Assembly, died at his Ramhlun North residence here on Tuesday following prolonged illness. He was 65. Lalnunzira had represented the Bru community in Mizoram Legislative Assembly in nominated seat from 1979 to 1984 when Mizoram was a Union Territory. No other Bru community member has become a legislator in Mizoram after him. (UNI)
