London: Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding was rushed to hospital following a violent altercation with her boyfriend Theo.

The 30-year-old singer is said to have made a complaint to police after the fight which took place during the pair’s skiing holiday in Austria, reported Daily Mail online. Harding was said to be so distraught after the row that she was taken to hospital, where she was later seen leaving with her right hand bandaged up and with ‘swollen lips and puffy eyes’.

“There was banging and screaming and a few guests came out in the corridor. It sounded like a terrible fight. By the early hours people had had enough and someone called the police. It was obviously a very serious tiff indeed. There was a lot of screaming and shouting,” a guest at the hotel said. “Sarah was taken to hospital because she was hysterical after the row. She was crying and screaming and clearly in a lot of distress,” the source added.

The new relationship came after a difficult year for the singer, who checked into a rehabilitation centre for help with alcohol dependency and depression last year following her split from fiance Tom Crane. (PTI)
