NONGSTOIN: An HNLC cadre Dirus Shangdiar (29), a resident of Photjaud Village of West Khasi Hills district, surrendered before the Mawkyrwat Police on January 2. Shangdiar joined the banned outfit in 2002. He was brought to Nongstoin Police Station for interrogation. He was take to Shillong on Tuesday.
