Dimapur band releases new music video

SHILLONG: Abiogenesis, a nationally acclaimed fusion band from Dimapur, has made a new music video for their single “Return of The Son”.

The video footages were mainly taken during Abiogenesis’ performance at the Octave Festival on November 13, 2011 at Margao, Goa and in other beaches of Goa. Shots were taken at the historic Golden Shwedagon Pagoda Temple in Yangoon, Myanmar, the beautiful and gigantic Buddha (51.5 meters) at Dordema at Kuensel Phodrang overlooking Thimphu, Bhutan and few spots in Nagaland.

The video was directed and edited by Moa Subong, who plays Guitar, Bamhum and Harmonica in his band at the Soul Speak Studios in Dimapur. Bamhum, made of bamboo is a widely acclaimed musical instrument, was invented by Moa, who is also a renowned musician and songwriter.
