SHILLONG: The Public Relation Officer, Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited has informed that the last date of payment of electricity bills has been extended zone-wise.
For Zone-1 the extended last date is January 10, Zone-2 (January 11), Zone-3 (January 12) and Zone-4 (January 13). This is for the information for the consumers of Shillong. The PRO also informed that the senior citizens will be given preferential treatment during payment of bills.
