SHILLONG: The 23rd Open Badminton Competition 2011-12 organized by the Dorbar Shnong Pynthorumkhrah Golflinks (Badminton Organizing Committee) in memory of (L) Bah Jarmanik Lyngdoh Mawphlang culminated here at Bahadur Hek Mini Stadium, Golflinks on Saturday.
Minister for Water Resources and JAD, AL Hek, was the chief guest in the occasion.
Subadondor Pyngrope of Mawpat won the Men’s Single Open Category and double event category while pairing with Rajesh Kannal.Raju Joshi and Pretty Singh won the mixed doubles category. In the Local Category, the Men’s Single title was won by Shemphang Lyngdoh.
