Los Angeles: Actress Lindsay Lohan continues to be plagued with troubles. She is now being sued by a photographer who alleges he was run over by her car in January 2010.

The 25-year-old, who is still serving community for her recent probation violation, is being sued by Grigor Balyan, who has claimed he was left badly injured after he being hit by the car the actress was riding while leaving a Hollywood club on January 10, 2010.

Although Lohan wasn’t driving the car, Balyan’s lawyer, Neil Steiner, said the actress was being sued because the driver was operating under her instruction, reported Aceshowbiz.

According to Steiner, Balyan was medically treated for orthopedic and neurologic injuries because of the car accident.

The lawyer also claimed to have tried to settle with Lohan’s insurance company, but they only made “an insignificant offer” while Balyan seeks to get “reasonable compensation.”

Lohan has had a string of legal difficulties in recent years and is currently carrying out community service as part of her sentence for breaking her probation in relation to a 2007 DUI (driving under the influence) case.

Lohan is also said to be facing a taxing problem as IRS has claimed the actress has not paid her 2009 income tax. (PTI)
