SHILLONG: Meghalaya beat Nagaland by 10 wickets to romp into their first win of the BCCI Associate & Affiliate Members tournament at Raipur on Saturday.

Anzar Ali claimed three wicktes, while P. Shangpliang and Uttam Dey scalped two apiece to bundle Nagaland out for a paltry 88 runs in 29.1 overs after the latter elected to bat on winning the toss.

Meghalaya batsmen sealed victory without losing any wicket with steady performance fromRaj Biswa (55*) and Amiangshu Sen (28*). Meghalaya will play hosts Chattisgarh on Sunday. Meanwhile, the BCCI Senior Women’s Tournament, schedule to start from Sunday has been postponed to Monday due to the delay in arrival of the officials following the Air India strike.
