SHILLONG: One Javed Alam (15) of Thana Road died on the spot when a motor cycle he was travelling on collided with a truck (AS-01F 9982) at Rhino Point near the ITBP headquarter on Sunday afternoon.
Police informed that Alam, who was riding pillion died on the spot, while Abul Hussain Choudhury who was driving the motor cycle sustained serious injuries.
Meanwhile, police informed that the driver of the truck fled away from the scene after the accident.
