New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee is likely to pay an official visit to Bangladesh this month to review the current state of bilateral relations especially the US$1 billion line of credit.

Pranab will be visiting at the invitation of his Bangladesh counterpart Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, who had extended an invitation to the veteran Congress leader last month.

The invitation was extended aiming to review agreements and decisions reached after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit to India and the return visit of Dr Manmohan Singh last year. Besides meeting his counterpart Mukherjee would also call on the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
