School building inaugurated

NONGPOH: The new school building constructed under SSA scheme 2010-11at an estimated amount of Rs 7 lakh for the (L) Rev. JJM Nichols’s Roy L.P School run by the Church of God at Sohriman, Bhoirymbong was inaugurated by local MLA of Umroi S.W. Rymbai on Saturday at Bhoirymbong.

Speaking on the occasion S W Rymbai said that he is really proud of this school being run by the Church of God for rendering their valuable service through quality education for the benefit of the poor children in the area.

He also lauded the school managing committee for their hard work and dedication to establish this school institution as they have an objective to promote quality education for the young children of the society and the community, he said.

However, as the local Representative of the area, he also exhorted the management committee of the institution to dedicates for their further services, so that many poor children of the society could really benefited by the present of this school institution, he added.

The others who have delivered speeches in the occasion includes GKhongsdir, Sub Divisional of Schools Education Officer (SDSEO), Rev H Khongtliam, and others elders members of the Church of God, Sohriman.
