K’taka proposes to establish Yoga & Naturopathy Colleges

Bangalore: Karnataka Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda on Friday said the State Government proposes to establish Yoga and Naturopathy Colleges in the entire State.

‘At present a Yoga and Naturopathy College is functioning in Mysore and it is contemplated to establish such Colleges in other parts of the State also,’ he added.

Speaking after inaugurating International Conference on Yoga and Naturopathy here, he said that efforts are on to introduce one hour Yoga lesson daily in Government Schools.

‘Yoga is a gift to the world by India and there is need to popularise it for stress-free and healthy life for one and all,’he added. (UNI)
