SHILLONG: A motorist, Chilang Marak (35/male), sustained injuries when he fell off the scooter he was riding after it developed a technical snag on a slope at Aden Bari under Rongram Block, West Garo Hills on February 14 . The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance (ESA) based at Tura admitted him to Tura Civil Hospital.
In another incident, a driver of a TATA Sumo and a passenger sustained injuries when the vehicle was involved in a head on collision with a TATA Mobile coming from the opposite direction at Mawlyngad on February 14 . The incident occurred when the TATA Mobile was in the process of overtaking another vehicle which was in front when it hit the TATA Sumo traveling towards Shillong from Jowai. The 108 ESA based at Smit admitted the injured to Shillong Civil Hospital.
