Road mishap

SHILLONG: A Maruti 800 (MLO5C–7116) on its way to Haflong from Shillong was hit by a truck coming from the opposite direction at Mookyndur on Friday. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance (ESA) based at Jowai admitted Uttam Dutta (41/male), Shilpi Talukdar (35/female), Bhibu Bhushan Talukdar (39/male) and Sharmistha Talukdar (7/female) to Jowai Civil Hospital. All the injured were occupant of the Maruti car.In another incident, a pedestrian walking on a roadside was hit by a moving vehicle at Mawlai Mawiong on February 16 . The 108 ESA based at Lawmali admitted Luckhi Dewri (31/male) to Shillong Civil Hospital.
