Air Force personnel killed, 4 hurt in road accident

 Shillong: An Air Force personnel was killed and four others were critically injured when the cab (ML 05G 8202) in which they were travelling was crushed under a bus ((ML 06 1464) at Lad Lumawbah, near Umshyrpi bridge here on Monday evening.

The incident occurred when the overloaded vehicle on its way to Nongstoin overturned and fell on the Shillong-bound tourist car killing the Air Force personnel on the spot and injuring four others.

The deceased was identified as Abani Bora.

The injured — Miah Hussain, Hajid Ali, Muktan Ali and Ajoy Ramchari — were rushed to the Shillong Civil Hospital, police said.
