NONGSTOIN: Three labourers reportedly lost their lives in coal quarry collapse in Lailad Borsora area of West Khasi Hills. The incident took place on Saturday. Three miners, identified as Md.Khaibal, Syed Karim Ali and Md Hasim Ali all from Nalbari district of Assam, died on the spot after the collapse.The bodies of the deceased had to be abandoned inside the mine due to lack of equipment to safely enter and retrieve them.
