SHILLONG: The continuous breakdown of electricity in most parts of the city has irked many parents and students who are appearing for various examinations.
Many parents have expressed anguish and disappointment over the break down of electricity stating that “This has affected many of our children who are preparing for their 10th and 12th examinations.”
A joint committee meeting between the Seng Longkmie Mawlai Pyllun and the KSU Mawlai Unit held here on Saturday have urged the concerned authorities to look into the matter to ease the tension of many parents and students.
