NONGSTOIN: The continuous breakdown of electricity in Nongstoin and other corners of West Khasi Hills of the city has irked many parents and students who are appearing for various examinations.Many parents have expressed anguish and disappointment over the breakdown of electricity stating that “This has affected many of our children who are preparing for their 10th and 12th examinations.”
A meeting of the KSU Nongstoin Circle held here on Saturday urged the concerned authorities to look into the matter to ease the tension of many parents and students.
KSU President Nongstoin Circle John Milton told media that in only in one day electricity has cut off more than 15 times.
