 SHILLONG: A Mahindra Max (MLO5A–6864) went off the road on a turning and fell into a gorge at Myllat under Pynursla Block Monday.

The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance (ESA) based at Pynursla admitted Batailin Suting (35/female), Banrilang Khongjee (33/female), Micheal Khongjee (10/male), Rislan (50/male), Kontimai Khongmalai (38/female), Kamni Khongjee (26/female) and Banehskhem Khongkliam (30/male) to Pynursla CHC.

Banrilang Khongjee was later shifted to Ganesh Das Hospital, Shillong and Batailin Suting to Bethany Hospital, Shillong.

The incident took place on the outskirt of the village as the vehicle was travelling towards Pynursla for the weekly market.
