Wellington: Jude Law is reportedly looking for a new home after he learned that students living near his penthouse apartment were invading his personal space and photographing him in his own apartment.

According to sources, the 39-year-old actor is being particularly vigilant after he was a target of News Corporation’s well-publicised phone hacking scandal.

The Chicago Sun-Times reported that he “went ballistic’ when he learned New York University students were invading his personal space and “photographing him walking around his apartment shirtless and working out on his terrace.”

The publication added that ‘Hugo’ star is now on the look-out for a new abode in the Big Apple. He is said to be “paying special attention to neighbouring buildings and any possible sites where his privacy could be breached.”

Law was awarded a six-figure settlement from Rupert Murdoch’s media empire recently. He accepted a sum of 130,000 pounds plus legal costs from News International at the beginning of this year over the phone hacking scandal that rocked British media.

His phone was broken into repeatedly, and he spoke of the “appalling” behaviour by Murdoch’s publications. (ANI)
