London: It has been six years since The Devil Wears Prada Came out, but actress Emily Blunt, who shot to fame with the film, still loves talking about it.

Unlike other stars who get irritated on being asked about a particular film repeatedly, 29-year-old Blunt has apparently become accustomed to it, reported Contactmusic.

“It’s the movie people talk to me about the most, so I’m lucky that I love that film and that role so much,” said the actress, who played Meryl Streep’s assistant in the 2006 film.

“I know people who are famous for one thing, and you can tell they resent it because they sort of roll their eyes whenever it’s brought up. But I’ll always be thrilled to have been associated with that movie, because I love it so much.

“I’ll never forget when the movie came out, and the next day I went to get a coffee, and a woman approached me. I’d never been recognized before, and this was THE NEXT DAY. I remember thinking, God, that’s weird. Nice, but weird.”

The film, based on Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 novel of the same name, was critically and commercially acclaimed.

“The thing about The Devil Wears Prada, is that everybody loved it. People in the business loved it. And it’s very hard these days to be in a movie that everybody loves,” said Blunt. (PTI)
