Los Angeles: The jeweller who designed the engagement ring for actress Halle Berry says it hides meaning in codes and symbols.
French actor Olivier Martinez recently confirmed that he is engaged to Berry.
Offering details about the ‘one-of-a-kind’ bauble, the jeweller from Jewellery house Mazlo said that only the Dark Tide actress and her fiance Martinez can interpret the codes and symbols, reported People magazine.
“The ring is textured and contains codes and symbols which you cannot see, only the person wearing it can. It is very uncommon. The symbols and codes represent the couple’s story and only they can interpret it,” he said. The design house also noted that the ring is “a one-of-a-kind piece and cannot be replaced.”
“Its 4-carat emerald comes from closed-down mines in Muzo, Colombia and the colour is perfect,” he added. (PTI)
