 SHILLONG:Cantonment police arrested three Bangladeshis from MUDA parking Plot at Bara Bazaar here on Wednesday.

The apprehended have been identified as Sapan Sheikh Salaman, Md Abdullah Alamanoon and Md Kamal Hussain all from Sylhet.

According to police, these individuals were moving suspiciously creating doubts among the police suspecting them to be thieves.

“But when they were brought to the police station and on questioning, they were found to be Bangladeshis possessing fake Indian identity cards along with Bangladesh Sim Cards”, a police official said.

The arrested persons are still under the police custody and further interrogation is still going on.
