‘Sanskriti-type’ school in Shillong

New Delhi: The Centre on Wednesday said that it has received a proposal to set up “Sanskriti-type” school, with a provision of 60 per cent seats for the wards of transferable All India Service officers, in the Northeast. “A proposal to open a Sanskriti type school in Shillong, Meghalaya has been received. However, no decision has yet been taken on the proposal,” Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions V Narayanasamy told Lok Sabha in a written reply. (PTI)
