 JOWAI: The Joint Action Committtee Against Municipality, Jaintia Hills District comprising the All Jaintia Youth Welfare Organisation (AJYWO), Jaintia Students’ Union (JSU), FKJGP-JH, HNYF-ER, HNPF, JFFBCH, MPUF, Jaintia Dorbar and the Soo Dorbar Shnong, Jowai has strongly demanded immediate and unconditional releaseof KSU leaders who were arrested at Khliehriat Police Station for allegedly burning down three trucks at Lumshnong and Umkiang area.

The NGOs under the banner of JACAM-JH have also threatened to take its own course of action if the government fails to release all the arrested KSU activists unconditionally.
