NFU beat Nongthymmai SC

SHILLONG: NFU defeated Nongthymmai SC by 32 runs in a league match of the Super Division Cricket League played at the Cricket Ground, Polo on Saturday. NFU won the toss and opted to bat first putting up a competitive total of 202 for the loss of ten wickets in 37.5 overs. Raj Biswa scored a breezy 62 of 39 balls and Hari scored 39 of 52 balls. Himlal grabbed three wickets for Nongthymmai. In reply, Nongthymmai SC fought well to reach 169 losing all its wickets in 37.4 overs. Ravi scored 47 of 63 balls while Peter (3/21) and Mithun (2/13) were the pick of the bowlers for NFU.
