Jazz Music Concert

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in collaboration with Department of Arts and Culture is organizing a Jazz Music Concert by Dina Virsaladze Quartet on Tuesday at U Soso Tham Auditorium.

World Consumer Rights Day

World Consumer Right Day was observed at Trysem Hall at Nongstoin on March 15 where the Extra Assistant Commissioner V Swer was the chief guest. He mentioned that the world consumer day aims at generating public awareness on the right and privileges of a buyer while spreading the message of business ethic.

New office bearers

The Seng Kynthei Umshing Mawkynroh Mawlai has elected new office bearers including Diamond Iawphiaw as president, Batriti Khongwir as vice president, Ibakordor Marbaniang as secretary, U Marbaniang as assistant secretary, Daplin G Marbaniang and SQ Majaw as adviser including executive members.

 Draft youth policy

The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs has uploaded the Draft Youth Policy 2012 in the Government website Meghalaya.nic.in for general people to enable them to offer their views and comments on the draft policy.

Education prog

The State Nodal Agency Centre for National Trust, Meghalaya State will organise an inclusive education programme on March 23 at Presbyterian Church of India.Lower Lachumiere.

It will also organise a job fair and ability mela on March 21 at Presbyterian Church of India.Lower Lachumiere.
