SHILLONG: Lawmalli defeated Aparajita by 106 runs in a league match of the Super Division Cricket League played at the Cricket Ground, Polo on Thursday.
Lawmalli won the toss and opted to bat first to put up a competitive total of 234/7 in the alloted 40 overs. Shellinstar Thabha scored 74 of 78 balls while Kamal Thapa bagged two wickets for Aparajita. In reply, Aparajita were bowled out for a paltry 128 runs in 21.2 overs. Krishna Chettri scored 29 runs of 46 balls while Arnold took three wickets for 29 runs .
