NFU beat Malki in high scoring match

SHILLONG: NFU defeated Malki CC by 43 runs in a league match of the Super Division Cricket League played at the Cricket Ground, Polo on Friday. NFU won the toss and opted to bat first. The decision was backed by their batsmen who put up a big total of 234 for the loss of four wickets in 40 overs. Raj Biswa scored a brilliant unbeaten 99 of 102 balls and Nirandra Deka scored 46 of 51 balls while Sunvert Kurkalang grabbed a wicket for Malki. In reply, Malki CC did well to score 191 for the loss of nine wickets in the alloted 40 overs. Wallambok Nongkhlaw scored 35 of 40 balls and Mark Laloo scored 35 of 46 balls while Raj Biswa and Bharat Rana took three wickets each for NFU. Next match: United XI Vs Riatsamthiah
