NFU edge past TNT Sputnik

SHILLONG: NFU beat TNT Sputnik by two wickets in a league match of the Super Division Shillong Cricket League played at Cricket Ground, Polo on Sunday. Sputnik’s decison to bat first backfired as they were bundled out by some tight NFU bowling for 146 in 35.3 overs. Amiangshu Sen (38 of 56 balls) and Chaman Pushpa (23 of 38 balls) were the pick of the batsmen for Sputnik while Kalyan Bhatttacharjee bowled brilliantly to bag five wickets for seven runs in his 4.3 overs for NFU. In reply, Raj Biswa (92) starred for NFU to take them home in 31.3 overs. The Sputnik bowlers did well to topple eight NFU wickets. Amiangshu Sen took three wickets for 35 runs.
