The Chief Advisor to the government of Meghalaya, DD Lapang on Saturday inaugurated the school building of Ladthalaboh Presbyterian Higher Secondary School, Jowai at Caroline locality.
ASHA meet
The district medical and health officer, Jowai organized a meet for the ASHA workers on Saturday at District Library, Jowai. The meet was conducted to let the ASHA workers interact with each other, to resolve the functional problems faced aby them.
Food Festival
The Grassroot, a shillong-based organisation is organizing a one-day food festival on March 29 at 10am with an objective to enliven the diversity and solidarity of NE states in one platform.
Free medical camp
A free medical camp was organized at Harai village on Indo-Bangladesh border in Jaintia Hills recently for the benefit of under privileged people of the border belt. Total 150 civilians were examined and given medicine in the camp by BSF and civil doctors.
