Public buses launched

JOWAI: Education minister Dr. RC Laloo launched five public service buses sponsored under the 13th Finance Commissioner Award 2010-11 and implemented by the Jowai Municipal Boaord at Circuit House Jowai on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Laloo called upon the people of Jaintia Hills particularly those from the area who will benefit from the services to take these buses as their own property.

With the launching of these buses, people will get busservices from Jowai to Ummulong, Jowai to Nangbah, Jowai to Phramer and two buses will be serving for the people of various localities in Jowai town.
