Meeting

The Alumni Association of St Mary’s College Of Teacher Education (AASMCTE) Shillong will hold its 2nd Meeting on the March 31 at 1.P.M in the college premises regarding the Platinum Jubilee Celebration. The Past pupils of the College are requested to attend the meeting.

Results

The result of the on –air Slogan Competition on Voluntary Blood Donation 2012 organized by the Meghalaya AIDS Control Society from February 13 to 22 aired on 93.5 Red FM was announced with W Shanborlang Swer as the winner while Danny Mitchell Marbaniang and Don as the 2nd and the 3rd runners up.

Pulse Polio

The district medical and health officer, East Khasi Hills will conduct the National Pulse Polio Immunization programme in the district. The second round of the programme will be held on April 2and house to house coverage activity on April 3 and 4.

Film Festival

The Films Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will organize a ‘MIFF in Meghalaya’, a festival of selected award winning films of ‘Mumbai International Film Festival’ at Martin Luther Christian University from March 29 to 31 from 4 to 8pm.

Bike-a-Thon

The reception ceremony of ‘Bike-a-Thon 2012-Ride for Health’ will be held at Brookside Adventist Higher Secondary School, Laitumkhrah on March 29 at 12noon.
