 SHILLONG:A regional seminar on Investors Education was organised in the city on Friday with an intention to make people financially literate on the investment sector.

During the seminar, various issues including protection of the investors’ interest was also discussed.

Speaking at the seminar, Chief General Manager Security and Exchange Board of India , Eastern Region, Krishna Mohan said that there is a proposal to include investment education in the school syllabus.“Efforts are on in this regard,” he said while addressing the gathering here on Friday.

Different investors including students also participated in the seminar organised to make people aware about the investment sector.
