Patiala: A fortnight after she was sworn in as Cabinet minister, senior Punjab minister Jagir Kaur was on Friday sentenced to five-years’ rigorous imprisonment on counts of forcible abortion, wrongful confinement, abduction and criminal conspiracy, in a case related to the mysterious death of her daughter in April 2000.
