NFU beat Aurobindo by 6 wickets

SHILLONG: NFU defeated Aurobindo by six wickets in a league match of the Super Division Cricket League played at the Cricket Ground, Polo on Sunday.Aurobindo won the toss and elected to bat first scoring a modest 163 for the loss of 10 wickets in 36.5 overs. Purojit Mondol scored a steady 59 while Subhash chipped in 25 runs. Bishu Upadhya grabbed four wickets while Tarak took two wickets for NFU. In reply, NFU reached the target in 30.5 overs with six wickets to spare. Raj Biswa scored a brilliant 96 from 102 deliveries while Bishu chipped in a quickfire 25 to power NFU home. Purojit grabbed a wicket for Aurobindo.
