 Shillong: The Jaintia Hills administration has banned the illegal dumping of fly ash bags on the road side along the National Highway 44 in the district. The district administration has promulgated an order under Section 144 CrPC prohibiting dumping of fly ash bags. Earlier, the East Khasi Hills administration had imposed a similar ban.
