Jennifer Baiamonlang Khyriem, daughter of Arbroad Kharkongor and Mrs Joycelyn Khyriem was awarded a PhD degree by NEHU for her thesis on “A study on the Health Status of the Khasis Domiasiat area, West Khasi Hills district, Meghalaya”.

She worked under the supervision of Dr R Khongsdier of the Department of Anthropology, NEHU.
