SHILLONG: Leader of the Opposition Conrad K Sangma is deeply concerned about the indefinite strike called by the NGOs from Wageasi on the NH 62 in protest against the rampant overloading by coal by trucks in Garo Hills.

The NCP condemned the Government’s inaction in failing to check illegal activities along NH 62 which has been brought to light so many times. The party urged the Govt to immediately address the issue and show its sincerity in putting an end to all illegal activities taking place in NH 62 for the overall development and restoration of normalcy in these affected areas.
