New Delhi: A Delhi court on Wednesday allowed US-based Internet giant Yahoo Inc’s application to remove its name from the list of parties allegedly involved in displaying objectionable content on their websites and directed the petitioner to revise his complaint.
Administrative Civil Judge Parveen Singh accepted Yahoo’s plea and told petitioner Mufti Aijaz Arshad Qasmi, an Islamic researcher linked to a website run by the Islamic Peace Foundation of India, to revise the list of companies provided by him.
The court directed him to present another list April 10 mentioning the names of accused companies. (IANS)
