Complaint lodged against surrendered HNLC cadres

 JOWAI: A coal mine owner at Briwar in Jaintia Hills, Jamris Rymbai of Mynso-B village lodged a police complaint against surrendered HNLC members including Onik Thabah alias bah Deng, Manik Kynsai Jyrwa alias Hep Jyrwa, Rang, Mebon, bah Nah Syllen and their associates for illegally claiming right over a coal mine.

In the complaint, Jamris Rymbai stated that on April 3 at around 3:30 pm the group of surrendered HNLC members led by Manik Kynsai Jyrwa came to the coal mine known as Kjat Briwar THwai Sning at Briwar and created trouble asking all coal labourers working there to leave.

“They asked me to stop utilizing the coal mine otherwise they will not spare my life, they said to me”, stated Rymbai in the complaint.
