Misery of the Wahumkhrah

Bottles and waste materials block the flow of the Wahumkrah river near Jingkieng Weiking in the city on Monday. The waste material surfaced following the rain on Monday.  Efforts are being made by an NGO, ICARE, under the ‘Save Wahumkrah Campaign’ to restore the old glory of the river Wahumkrah.
