 SHILLONG: The Farmers Association Adokgre and GSU closed down the tower of Aircel at Adokgre on Tuesday as the services of the company has remained unoperational in the area since January this year.

The two NGOs have also served a deadline of ten days to the company to solve the problem.

Meanwhile, three NGOs of Adokgre have asked the State PWD to immediately repair the Pakrek bridge on Rongjeng-Mangsang-Adokgre Road which was partly collapsed.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, three NGOs including the Adokgre Deveopment Council also expressed their concern over the delay in completion of bridge no 19/2 over lldek river near Badaka village.
