SHILLONG: The Assam Rifles has refuted the news item appearing in a section of the media regarding return of weapons to NSCN (IM) by Assam Rifles. In a statement issued here the Assam Rifles clarified that no weapon or ammunition has been handed over or returned to NSCN (IM) by the Assam Rifles, either as a reciprocal gesture or otherwise.
