Guwahati: Assam Photo Journalists’ Association (APJA) in association with Oil India Ltd. is organizing a five day long photo exhibition “Dr. Bhupen Hazarika in Images” to pay homage to Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, the famous iconic artiste and musician from the Northeast India who died in November last year.
Throughout his life, Dr. Hazarika was seen in different fields playing variegated roles which included a legislator, a writer, composer, singer, director, producer or a father or a friend and many others but above all an excellent human being. All these aspects of his life have been captured by various photographers at different times and places.
The contributions from the public will be displayed with full credits to the photographer or the person giving the photographs for this exhibition. The last date for submitting the photographs is May 2 next . The photographs should be limited to his life span only.
The photographs can be emailed to [email protected] giving details about the photograph and the details of the photographer including contact number etc.
