SHILLONG: A meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Meghalaya Unit held recently expressed serious concern over the grave situation in Garo Hills.

The meeting felt that the common people of Garo Hills especially the daily wage laborers, students, have become victims of this week long bandh.

“What is more worrisome is that even after several hours of bandh the state Government has shown no interest to take concrete steps to take control over the situation,” BJP general secretary Dipayan Chakraborty said.
