Three held for robbery

 SHILLONG: Three youths under the age of 20 years were apprehended on Thursday from Jhalupara for allegedly robbing a house late Wednesday night.The three youths have been identified as Akash Thapa (18),Rahul Das (18) and Sankar Yadav (18).The three were successful in robbing 35000 rupees cash besides 4 tolas of gold from the house of one Roshan Gurung at Jhalupara.

According to Gurung, the thieves stole a box containing the amount and gold from his house and after taking out all the money, they left the box somewhere near the house. After searching throughout the locality, Gurung managed to get hold of the three who were later handed over to the police.
