Kohima: Maj (Dr) Neikhrietuonuo Linyu has become the first Naga to successfully scale the Mount Everest. Major Linyu, an amry doctor posted at Agra, was part of an Indian army mountaineering team that scaled the summit on May 25. Born in Kohima village, Linyu after completing her schooling joined Regional Institute of Medical Science (RIMS), Imphal. She joined army medical corps in 2001. (PTI)
