Senior journalist Kishore Kirat no more

 SHILLONG: Senior journalist Kishore Kirat passed away at the B Baruah Cancer Institute, Guwahati on Thursday morning.

He was 46 and leaves behind three sons.

Kishore began his tryst with journalism at Purvanchal Prahari and later joined Danik Purvoday two established houses. He even translated Khasi scripts to Hindi with his fellow journalists. Meanwhile, the Shillong Press Club has expressed its deepest condolence at the sudden demise of Kirat.
