TMC to fight State election

SHILLONG: Trinamool Congress has decided to field candidates in all the 60 Assembly constituencies in Meghalaya in the 2013 election.

The convener of Trinamool Congress, Debasish Batabya, visited Shillong on Thursday and held discussions with other political leaders of the State highlighting the need to join the party to contest the Assembly elections.

The party has also decided to set up its office in Shillong soon.
